I got all excited when I first saw this rare belt buckle as I thought it was sterling silver. When I was able to focus my eyes, I saw the Hallmark was EPNS for electroplated Nickel Silver with a couple of other English stamps I could not identify, maybe Birmingham. It is large at 3 3/4 inches long and 2 inches at its widest. I love the Egyptian couple decorating the from along with the ornate silver work and shape. This would not only be great as a belt buckle, but artists can use this as a necklace clasp, as it is too wide for a bracelet. This is probably from the late 1800's and is so unique and the condition is excellent with no damage and a nice warm patina.
