This is a rare and sensational vintage 1941 Alfred Spaney masterpiece brooch. This brooch is a wonderful example of pave crystal rhinestones and rhodium silver finish to perfection. Alfred Spaney produced a series of flower and leaf sprays brooches for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel in the early 1940's. This brooch can be seen on a September 16, 1941 patent application. The brooch is 3 1/4 inch long and is truly breath- taking with its long spray of leaves and curling and sweeping with the flower buds poking out. It looks like fine jewelry in the Art Nouveau tradition. The brooch is signed on the back with Trifari all in capitals and the number 129552 that is so clear, I could even see it with my poor eyes. Even the most picky buyer will be amazed at the excellent condition of this brooch. A wonderful example that will make a collector smile for a long time.
