This is one of two antique German postcards I have available featuring the debossed "jewels." The other one is listed here:
Cards decorated with glitter and sequins are common, but these debossed "jewels" are scarce. Notice the embellishments are pink/red on the hat and gold on her dress. She is an Edwardian beauty with a huge hat and a parasol with a plethora of ruffles! Slightest hints of age, light silvering at the top left corner, etc. But nothing noticeable enough to detract from the charm of this real photo novelty postcard. Verso, the franking looks to be 1910. Typical antique postcard size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches. Please note that the card looks black and white in the photo but the first picture, the direct scan, that shows the warm golden undertones is more accurate.
