I'm pretty jaded when it comes to baby photos because I've seen so many over the decades I've been dealing in postcards, but I feel confident in saying, this one is a standout you can't help but fall in love with! I can't determine if the hand-written date verso is February 23, 1900 or 1910. The franking doesn't help either. Nonetheless, this antique photo postcard features a charmer! This photo does have some imperfections (specks, spots, white line at bottom right of her hair) but this French toddler is an absolute beauty. And then there's the detail in the lace design of the dress she's wearing, plus the touches of pink hand-coloring. Perhaps it's the perfect reflections/light highlights in her eyes? The photo looks to have more yellow undertones in daylight and more sepia as I see it here on my desktop. I've included a direct scan as well as several photos, one under lamp light and two at window light. Typical antique postcard size of about 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
