This German-printed postcard was mailed in Italy on the last day of 1903. I believe the recipient added their own stamp to denote the day received: January 12, 1904. For its age, this card is in overall fine antique condition. There are a few stray ink drops on the front, from the sender's signature no doubt, and I've priced it accordingly. Still, nothing so garish as to detract from this young beauty with the wind-blown hair. No artist attributed but a superb illustration. About 3.5 by 5.5 inches. (I've come across another version of this card with a gray background, but I must confess: this one is better with the green:)
