More from FrenchKissed
Dated March 26, 1931, this is a contract of a "donation" by Madame Metz to her husband. I don't know the difference in French law between a will and a "donation," but I do know that this item contains 4 pages of artistic French script on watermarked paper with embossed seals and stamps and it's an ephemeral beauty! For its age, this contract is in quite pristine condition. The pink twine holding the pages together looks brand new, not almost 90 years old! The closed legal document measures about 12 x 8.75 inches. I've included photos (for clarity and detail) as well as some direct scans. For color, the scans are more accurate.
