Mirrors are hard to photograph, but between the direct scans and the window photos taken with natural daylight, you can see what a fun novelty postcard this is -- despite the signs of age and wear. The far right "mirror" panel is half missing and the center panel is cracked. I don't know what kind of material the "mirrors" actually are but the patina is marvelous. The two real photos are Belle Epoque actresses and the scans don't do justice to the photos. There is a white speck on the lady's left check, but overall, in hand, her portrait looks in fine condition. The interior portrait does have a crease. A purple ribbon above the silver embossed frame completes this novelty card. The French greeting is for a happy new year. The card is unused; circa 1904-1914. Typical antique postcard size of about 3.5 by 5.5 inches. When opened, the mirrors measure about 4.75 inches across.
