The postcard of the aspiring writer sitting next to the huge inkwell is in overall fine condition, with virtually no surface wear, but hints of age at the corners. This sepia real photo French postcard bears Happy New Year greetings and was mailed Dec. 30, 1912. The other toddler aspires to be a grandma! She's looking uber cute with pince nez perched on the tip of her nose. One doll in her arms and two more on the floor. This card shows its age, with the postal cancellation impressions showing. Mailed from Italy to Nice, France, about 1906 or '08. Both postcards are typical antique size, about 3.5 by 5.5 inches. Despite signs of age, these real photo cards rank high on the adorable scale!
