Having a limited color palette doesn't limit the detail in the design! Verso, a bit of promotion by Phoscao, a French company that produced a chocolate drink, which promised to be the perfect elixir for digestion. Circa 1904--1914, these cards are unused. Some signs of age and wear: faded edge on the horse postcard, errant specks, a couple of scratches. But no creases. And considering their age, still in fine antique condition!
Each card is typical antique size, about 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
