This postcard was part of an advertisement campaign for Paris' bus system in June 1982. But the image of a woman with drink in hand feeding a pigeon has even older vibes. The scarf, sunglasses and dress shout 1950s-'60s! Why the bus is plowing through water ... I can't explain. Perhaps an exaggeration to show that the bus can get you home dry even when it rains? I just know that it's a fun design that instantly transports you back in time! Rich and bold colors. This card is unused and for its age, in fine condition. There are errant specks inherent to the printing. Corner tips show wear. But for a card almost 40 years old, it's impressive! I have several of these cards available; modern postcard size, about 5.75 by 4-1/8 inches.
