This is one of three postcards I have in this series featuring one of the most popular child models at the turn of the century. In most cards, she's looking quite impish, but here she's mustered a most humble, angelic pose! This card was printed in Germany by the Rotophot (RPH) company, renown for quality, real photo cards, with many distribution offices. Hence, the French "carte postale" verso. Mailed in 1906. As mentioned in my other listing, I feel confident you'll be pleased with this card once in hand. IF not, return it and I'll refund your money! The direct scan is brutal and makes the surface wear on the dark red/brown background look worse than it is. Scans even capture the dust and lint on the scanner surface. Yes, there is some surface wear and there are some white specks. Just not as glaring as what you see here. Also, there are a couple of very light creases, more feelable than seeable. About 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
In the last photo, you'll see I have three cards in this series available. Use the word "mandolin" in the search box to bring up all three.
