This is an advertisement page out of a vintage French magazine featuring the iconic Boucheron jewelry house, which opened in 1858 in Paris at 26 Place Vendôme and it's still there. I'm assuming the darkness of the color palette is to make the gold jewelry stand out? Dickens of a time trying to tweak my photo and scan to accurately convey the colors. And I confess, I've borrowed a pic from Boucheron's web site, to help show a better example. Very dark yet striking illustration, which is artist signed -- sorry, I can't read it. The French dealer I got this from has notated in pencil verso the year of the magazine: 1948. Verso is also an in-house ad for the magazine itself: Plaisir de France. The page is about 12.5 by 9.5 inches. Staple holes, minor signs of wear. But overall: impressive vintage condition. The vintage paper/printing process has created a plethora of specks, which look even more magnified on a screen. With the naked eye, in hand, I think you'll still be pleased with the vintage beauty.
Please note: this is one of TWO Boucheron ads I have available. The other one is listed here: https://www.rubylane.com/item/274812-8853/1950s-Boucheron-Chanel-Magazine-Advertisement-Page
