The Italian greeting on the front of this real photo postcard means "sincere congratulations." I'm still calling it a Christmas card:) Mailed in Italy in 1908, the glossy surface shows wear (scratches in the window), but the scene is most intriguing. What do you think Santa is thinking? More than just tired and taking a break, he looks like he's lost in thought squatting in front of the fireplace in the girl's room. What is that thing in his hand? He's already left a doll and a goat pull-toy on wheels among her shoes. Great detail in this photography studio set up! Album impressions but no creases. About 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
