This is one of two Mauzan postcards I have featuring an irresistible cupid and 1920s lady. In this one, she is getting her nails buffed and polished by the little ruddy-cheeked cupid. This card is unused, printed in Italy. This card is 3.5 by 5.5 inches and in near mint condition save for light foxing at the top edge. Based on biographical information, I'd date this card to no later than 1927, when Mauzan moved to Argentina, where his reputation is renown. His career is most interesting and I highly recommend you read about him on Wikipedia. Achille Lucien Mauzan was born in France (1883) but moved to Italy in 1905 and was extremely prolific designing posters and postcards. Although his career took him from one side of the globe to the other, including time in Paris, he eventually returned to his hometown of Gap, France, where he died in 1952.
Here's a link to the other Mauzan card available as seen in the last photo: https://www.rubylane.com/item/274812-8839/Cupid-Art-Deco-Lady-Mauzan-Unused
