This is one of four antique postcards I have in the dancing girls series by French painter Ernest Gayac (1870-1942). This one is topless but Gayac as coyly posed her with the tails of her skirt in hand. In the last photo you'll catch a glimpse of all four available. About 3.5 by 5.5 inches. Unused. Published by P.J. Gallais & Cie of Paris. According to Neudin's "Les Meilleures Cartes Postales d'Illustrateurs," the French "Bible" for postcard collectors, this series by Gayac was produced around 1910. Slightest hints of age around the edges/corner tips, but overall, near mint unused condition. No surface wear! To see all cards I have by this artist, use GAYAC in the word search box.
