Droguerie Ménage literally translates as "housekeeper." This Paris shop offered a variety of goods, from cleaning supplies to dishes and lamps, to help one manage a house. I can't locate this storefront as a current business in Paris, but I can tell you that a signed/numbered lithograph of it is for sale at a French poster shop for 89 euros.
This is one of three different Paris shop postcards I have by Dominque Chouaba (as seen in the last photo). All listed separately. Each card is artist signed and dated 1988 (when he painted the original art). Based on other cards I have in the series, I've concluded that these were published in the late 1980s and 1990s. Each card measures about 5.75 by 4 inches. I have two available. PLEASE note: to be able to offer these vintage cards affordably, I'm offering them in this generic group format all at the same price. If you have a preference, message me first to see if the specific copy you want is still available. Both copies are in fine vintage condition with hints of wear at the corner tips. Verso, the previous sellers' filing numbers.

*I don't have complete biographical information on Chouaba; most information I gleamed online is from French sites. I can tell you that he is about 59 years old and has had exhibitions worldwide, from Japan to Italy. One of the latest I came across was in Clairac, France, in 2014. He is a recognized contemporary French artist and his artwork ranges from 18th century style landscapes and angel paintings to this 'naive' style seen in this Paris series.
