I have three sheets of these green French stamps available. They are even more 'shabby chic' than the red sheets I have listed separately and I've priced them accordingly. A few of the stamps have missing corners or edges; one sheet has foxing verso; another sheet is torn partways in the center. Nonetheless, these have a certain "je ne sais quois" appeal: the glue wondrously aged and the randomness of the postal frankings. Not to mention the story behind them. The French woman I got these from said her father could not stand to throw away stamps on letters received, so he meticulously removed and collaged each individual stamp onto the paper sheet to save them. He collaged these with no border on the left side but there is the center fold border and a right border. The most common frankings I see on the stamps are 1911 and 1912. Everyone's computer screen is calibrated differently and so I'll just say that these stamps are various shades of green. Each sheet measures about 17 inches across and 13 inches down. I will mail the sheet folded in the center as they have been for the past 100 years but will layer and protect the sheet to ensure it is not creased anywhere else en route during shipping!
While writing the above description I realized that I could easily cut each sheet in two: 130 stamps on a "half" sheet. If you would love a half-sheet at half price, message me and I'll make a new listing for you. Otherwise, I'm going to keep them in their original sheet size.
