LAST CHANCE: Dear Customers, you will find several items listed in my shop as "Last Chance." I'm taking a leap into artistic endeavors, painting, collage and 3-D assemblage. So I'm going to be removing some items to be used in my art projects after Labor Day. If you find something, like this item, listed as LAST CHANCE, grab it now:)
In most of the original photos of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Expo of 1900, the globe next to it is referred to as the celestial globe. Perhaps Globe Monstre was a marketing ploy?:) This Paris souvenir is the size and thickness of a cabinet card but since the photo has been printed out and glued on, I don't think it's proper to call it a cabinet card photo. Nevertheless, it is a lovely historical piece of ephemera in overall fine condition for its age. There is some light pencil scribble at the border edge bottom right. Size: just under 6.5 by 4.25 inches.
