Here is another vintage postcard in the André Renoux (1939-2002) series: Boucherie de L'ile. Next to No. 79. But where in Paris? Is it still there and in business? I'll leave that sleuthing to you!
Renoux is a French painter considered the "father" of the Paris School of Urban Realism. I have been offering his postcards in lots of 4-5, but decided to try something different with my latest arrivals from across the Atlantic. I'm offering these individually so you can mix and match to your own taste, whether you want to create a particular theme, color, all horizontal or all vertical, whatever. To see all the Renoux cards currently available, use RENOUX in the word search box. As you mix and match, remember with a minimum $50 order, you'll get a $10 discount. Details on my shop home page on how to handle check out so I can change the price before you pay to give you your savings.
I can't date Renoux postcards precisely but from my online research, comparing the dates of Renoux's original oil paintings and dates on the few used postcards I've come across, I believe these cards are from the 1980s to the 1990s. Overall in fine unused vintage condition save for corner bumps. About 5.75 by 4-1/8 inches.
