Croissants with butter or leavened bread? How about one of each from this Parisian bakery immortalized by André Renoux (1939-2002)? Renoux is a French painter considered the "father" of the Paris School of Urban Realism. I can't date Renoux postcards precisely but from my online research, comparing the dates of Renoux's original oil paintings and dates on the used postcards I've come across, I believe these cards are from the late 1980s to the 1990s. Overall in fine unused vintage condition. Hint of wear on the bottom corner tips; verso is erased area patch. About 5.75 by 4-1/8 inches.
As you mix and match, remember with a minimum $50 order, you'll get a $10 discount, and shipping within the US is $3.75 whether you buy one or 10, so collect away! Details on my shop home page on how to handle check out so I can change the price before you pay to give you your savings.
You may have seen Renoux's Paris shop scenes on Williams Sonoma plates. His original limited-edition serigraphs sell anywhere from $600 to $2,000. Although these postcards are not my usual antique fare, I wanted to offer these because Renoux's Paris shop scenes are difficult for a person in the United States to access and they are highly collectible.
