Although this vintage postcard is artist-signed, I'm afraid I'm not going to be much help in telling you about the artist. The name is difficult to read: Dylatte or Dylette? I can tell you that these cards are hard-to-find and with the metallic gold background, they are standouts! I'm not positive if this card falls into the pochoir category, but it obviously has been hand-painted. While capturing the exact tone of "gold" in the background is near impossible, I have worked and tweaked in my photo editing program to try to accurately capture the other colors: the deep Chinese red of the dresser and the dark lavender of her chemise. I've also included several photos taken in a variety of light. Hint of a short crease at top, right of center and wear on the corners as well as some surface wear. But as you can see from the photos, nothing to hide here; this card is still a beauty! Marked NOX of Paris and measures about 5.5 by 3.5 inches. The lady's bob shouts Roaring '20s!
