Here is a trio of antique European postcards, all featuring couples and musical instruments. Since I'm offering these at a bon marche price, I'll let you do the research on the artists. Albert Schröder (1854 - 1939) is German and I'm guessing "H. Gitter" is also. Carl Schweninger was from Austria. From the fine print on the cards verso I'd say these cards were printed in Germany and Prague. Typical antique postcard size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches. The colors are richly saturated and the cards with the two ladies in white are on thick cardstock. Circa early 1900s; I feel confident in saying these are pre-WWI. For their age, any signs of wear seems irrelevant. Truly, quality art reproductions!
