This is an original vintage photo of the Eiffel Tower by Jean Arty of Paris. Entitled "Reflections on the terrace of the Palais de Chaillot," it measures about 4 x 6 inches. The photographer Jean Arty is a bit of a mystery. A long time ago, I came across someone who said Arty was a student of the French doumentary photo pioneer Eugène Atget. Arty's photos surface on the web every so often. I'm happy to say that when I did a Google image search of this Eiffel Tower photo, nothing came up. It's nice to know that an item is rare enough to not be splattered all the web and to know there are still items not mass produced. I can't say that once you buy this photo, you'll be the only one with a copy because, actually, I have about a dozen available! Ten years or so ago I bought several from a Frenchman's stockpile. The photo is in near mint condition. It has a curl to it. So you'll want to frame it. It is not a stark black and white photo. The white is more of a soft cream, an antique white.
