This postcard has been in my personal collection for more than a decade. It wasn't until recently that I discovered there was a folded piece of cellophane hidden behind the birdhouse! If I'm seeing correctly, the sender wrote: Viva May 15! Be happy. Good luck! Typical postcard size of about 3.5 by 5.5 inches, but nothing typical about the card itself! It's handmade with Victorian die-cuts, a Bonne Fete sticker and added pink ribbon. In overall fine condition for its age; mailed in 1908. There is a gold star sticker that has fallen off and I'll include that with your card in it is protective sleeve. Note that the white background has a glossy diamond pattern.
