This Paris souvenir wall hanging is from my personal collection. I have had it over a decade. It is the book cover from an antique souvenir photo album from the turn of the century. I had it framed with a soldered edge and chain for hanging. It can easily be flipped over to showcase the Eiffel Tower side, but I must say that I'm partial to the Paris side. I apologize for not being up to the challenge to photograph something covered in glass! Between the direct scan and the variety of photos at different angles, you can get an idea of what a beautiful piece of Art Nouveau memorabilia this is. The book cover is a deep matte maroon with a lovely dimpled texture. Beaucoup gold pigment in the lettering and border design (which also magnifies the difficulty in accurately capturing the colors). So please ignore the light glares and reflections. Unfortunately, the gold reacts so much to the direct scan that it makes the maroon look muddy. It's a deep matte maroon, but not muddy! The pictures truly don't do justice to this sweet gem. I even left the original 50 franc sticker on the front of the book cover for authenticity. The wall hanging measures about 6 x 8 inches. The ball chain hanger adds another 4 inches. It weighs just over 12 ounces. I will ship it in layers of bubble wrap.
