My favorite is St. Jacques Tower. Each one of these unused antique French postcards feature a tourist hot spot: the Opera house, the Woods of Boulogne park, the Tuileries. The edges of the cards are chippy and worn, but the colors are as richly saturated as the day these cards were printed, about 115 years ago! Also, the white borders are in very good bright and clean condition considering their age. The undivided back tells us these cards were printed in 1903 or earlier. Each one is about 3.5 by 5.5 inches. Artist-signed but not a signature I can make out. These French "carte postales" were imported and printed by Killinger & Faivret/E. de Koenig, a Zurich, Switzerland, company.
