I have this beautiful milk-glass white beaded rosary listed under 'vintage,' because I'm not an expert and can't be certain but I think it could qualify for antique status. French postcards are so much easier to date and that's my specialty, but it was lovely rosaries I kept coming across at France's second largest flea market this past September and I couldn't resist! In the close-up photos you can see signs of age and wear in the metal: note the chain link holding the crucifix. So this item is definitely vintage but other than to say that, I'm sorry that I can't date it more precisely. All of the rosaries I've listed stood out to me with one or two elements of uniqueness. For this one, aside from the stunning glass beads, it was the center Miraculous Medal of the Virgin Mary. Verso, note the detailed design with the curved, swirling Art Nouveau A and M (Ave Marie), the flaming heart, the cross and the anchor -- faith, hope and love.
The rosary hangs about 15 inches long to the center M medal. From the top of the center medal to the tip of the crucifix is about another 6 inches.
