This is one of three Snam postcards I have available. The other two are listed separately. This one with the exotic fishbowl is my favorite. This card is in overall mint unused condition. Verso: Editions Snam, Bruxelles, 24, rue Coudenberg. Perhaps we can assume Snam was a Belgian artist. Snam is recognized by Neudin's "The best postcards of illustrators" [Les Meilleures Cartes postales d'Illustrateurs] but no biographical information is given at all. Not one word. Self-published, perhaps he wanted to remain anonymous!? From other information I have gleamed, comparing other Snam postcards I've offered, this card dates to the Art Deco eras, circa 1920-1930s. Size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
