The postal cancellation dates on these two French postcards are hard to read but look to be 1911 and 1913. Each one features an Edwardian inside the Wheel of Fortune comprised of playing cards -- the poor man's version of the Tarot deck. The card with the Queen of Hearts predicts the coming around of a beautiful blonde woman! The other card says that a friend surely will bring a pretty gift. Each card is typical antique postcard size: about 5.5 by 3.5 inches. Glossy finish. In overall fine condition, especially considering their age, the red stamp postcard has two ripples at the bottom. Not like water damage , but as if it was pressed against some things round, say, a couple pencils, that left this indentation?
