This is a postcard of the Belle Epoque French actress Arlette Dorgere as you've never seen her before: with a fabric overlay to give a textured look and feel. The fabric is a dark violet-red felt. Gold accents have also been applied by hand as well as the color tinting.
The card has a glossy finish. I've posted scans and photos at different angles to try to capture the every changing look of the card, depending upon how you hold it.
Slightest signs of wear on the surface and at the corner tips. A light crease at bottom right is more feelable than seeable.
Mailed in1906 to Florence, Italy, from Paris, the card is about 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
