This lovely "bride" is Armande Cassive (1879-1940) , a French comic actress. What role she was posing for I can't say, but I think of her as portraying a bride and love the lacy fingerless glove!
This antique French postcard is written on but not franked or dated. However, I feel confident in saying it is likely pre-1918. It is a real photo postcard taken by the famous Parisian-based studio of the Reutlinger family. It has been color tinted and hand-detailed: pastel blue over the veil and gown as well as metallic gold paint accents.
The card shows some silvering around the top and slightest pricks from perhaps a staple at the top center. But overall, this card has virtually no surface wear and is 'incroyable!'
Size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
