These two antique French postcards celebrate our love of music and stringed instruments. The girl in blue is paired with a pink lyre. This card is postally sent but the franking isn't complete. This card is in near mint condition with virtually no surface wear.
The girl in lavender harkens to ancient times as she holds a very primitive harp and dazzles in her rhinestone-studded gown and armband. This card has a crease at bottom right and the edges are worn. However, this card, too, shows virtually no surface wear on the matte finish.
Both cards are circa 1904-1918. Size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
