This is an antique sepia French postcard mailed to Paris in 1918.
The card has rich red-brown tones in a matte finish. I worked in Photoshop trying to get just the right tones and still am not sure I succeeded, but between the direct scans and the photos, I hope you can see what a lovely lass in lavender this is!
The photos make the background look way too light but you can see there are specks and spots around the edges. However, the heart of the image, the Edwardian beauty with her light brown wavy hair, is in almost mint condition. No creases and almost no surface wear.
Matt this card with an oval frame for a piece of unique wall art! Size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
