Both of the girls in this real photo French postcard were regular models during the Golden Age of Postcards. I've seen them in many a postcard but never as heart-tugging as in this fantasy scene. Titled "L'Amour câlin," it is French for "love hug." It is a matte finish, real photo card that has been colorized by hand and detailed with little accents on the angel's wing.
If I'm reading the hand-written date correctly, this card was mailed April 13, 1912. Size: about 5.5 by 3.5 inches.
Little bitty crease in the white border at top center. But all factors considered, this card is incredibly preserved and in overall fine antique condition.
