No artist is credited for this tres Art Nouveau design of a brunette wearing an exotic gold headpiece and arm band. I can't tell if the light blue fan is part of her hair ornamentation or if it's part of the Art Nouveau frame. Either way, the design comes together for an intriguing look reminiscent of Folies Bergere or Casino of Paris. The black and white frame is a tease with all that lovely Art Nouveau rounded, curving symmetry on each side but then bam! the bottom left side juts down and out in a surprising twist. There is a small piece of the left edge notched out of the bottom side, but no creases. Considering the age of the card (undivided back, circa 1903-1905) and the light colors, it is still in overall very good condition. Verso is the barely readable OPF inside a 3 looped/clover leaf-like design. OPF stands for Osnabruecker Papierwarenfabrik of Berlin. Size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
