If you look closely on this postcard, you'll see each kitten has been given a name, penned on their leg: Mimie, Therese, Jean and Paul. In April of 1905, the writer sent a million kisses to each one and was waiting with impatience to hear from them. The sweet message verso is apropos for the sweet illustration recto. The woman with the kittens is part of Tuck and Son's series No. 620. The card is typical antique size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches. For its age, this card is in near mint condition. There are the slightest hints of age/soiling but nothing that detracts from the card's charm.
