This is one of two real photo postcards I have from the E.A. Schwerdtfteger & Co. of Berlin. This one is marked No. 412 and once again we have an angel with a star background. This one has a crown of pink flowers in her hair, draped in a blue gown and she's holding a bouquet of holly. The sepia overtones add to the warmth and vintage feel of this antique card. The scans and photo do not do justice to the warm brown/magenta hues. Though not postally franked, I feel confident in saying this is pre-WWI. Although German-printed, the greeting is in French: Joyeux Noel. No creases but signs of age on the corner tips; typical surface wear for a glossy finished card. But overall, in fine antique condition considering its age. Size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches. The second EAS angel card, No. 432, is listed here: http://www.rubylane.com/item/274812-7763/Joyx78eux78-Noel-French-postcard-photo-collage
