This is a German-printed postcard (postkarte) -- one of two -- that Jeanne mailed in 1906 to Marguerite in Libourne (the wine-making capital of the Gironde department of southwestern France). This one is an adorable illustration of a Scottish terrier wearing a checked hat and he has a rose in his mouth. The bottom right corner is creased and the background has some specks/spots, but overall, this card is in very good antique condition. Size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches. The card is lightly embossed. I've tried to show that in the angled photo. The other card [See the last photo] is of a cat and is listed separately. I feel badly about separately them after they've been together for more than century but ... some people are cat people and some people are dog people:)
