Fernand Le Quesne (1856-1932) was the son of a famous Paris sculptor, Eugène-Louis Le Quesne, and received his first art training from his father. This postcard is one of his scenes depicting a lady at the Turkish baths in Paris -- which still exist today.
The white background shows wear, soiling and superficial creases (not visible verso) but the lavish Art Nouveau design and the rich, warm colors still claim the attention!
Not franked or postally used, this card dates to about 1904-1914.
