Printed in Italy, this holy card is a "Memento Bethlehem" with Latin at the bottom: Baby Jesus in the manger. The message on the back is written in French. The sender doesn't say she's actually in Bethlehem but the card is hand-dated Jan. 28, 1962. It is interesting to note that this card, though relatively "modern," is in typical antique postcard size: about 5.5 by 3.5 inches. The top right corner is creased; wear around the edges. But overall, this card is in fine vintage condition. Especially when held at an angle, the card is a blaze with all the metallic gold highlights within the straw of the manger and in the crown around Baby Jesus' head as well as around the cross emblems.
