This Reutlinger photo postcard was mailed 6/16/06 from Moulins, France, to Constantine, Algeria. It is a portrait of Mlle. Jeanne Saulier, one of the famous Edwardian stage stars during the Belle Epoque. She is wearing a lavish gown rich in detail: lace, ruffles, sewn-on flowers. I have included direct scans and photos to help show the fine quality of this card. It has virtually no surface wear, just the slightest hints of silvering at the edges. No creases. Hint of age at the corner tips. The card is a soft, muted black and white photo. By muted, I mean not a harsh contrasting black and white but a mellowed, creamy tone. Size: about 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
