I have three cards in this RARE series and this one is "blemished" with some dark smudge above the French verse and bottom right corner tip wear. [Take a look at the last photo and you'll see what this card usually looks like -- "just" a line illustration.] At first look, I thought fabric had been fused to create the "bronze" gown, but apparently it is simply the superb German quality of the paper/paint/printing and embossing.
The French text at the bottom corner says (best as I can translate) : And in the form of an angel The Love Messenger Brings a pure mix of Happiness forever.
IF you look at the trio as a whole, you'll see that this one features the lady in bronze; the other two are green and copper. It is difficult to capture the exact shades/tones of the card because it looks different depending upon how you hold it. So I've included two photos plus a direct scan. Circa 1904-1914 SIZE: 3.5 by 5.5
LAST CHANCE: At the first of the month, I'll be removing items to make way for 'new' antiques, regrouping, selling postcards in lots, etc.
