I often joke that the best French postcards were made in Germany. At the turn of the century, the Germans had the best printing presses and NPG was one of the elite quality postcard producers. I have seen literally tens of thousands of postcards from the "Golden Age" and I can say: this is the only one like this I've come across. For pre-Photoshop age, this is a charming montage. Mailed in 1911 to Lyon, France. Glossy finish. No creases. Minor signs of wear/age on the edges. 3.5 by 5.5 inches.
