Although not postally sent, the divided back tells us this card was printed after 1904. I'd gues-timate it is pre-WWI. The rose is a deeply embossed fuchsia. I do apologize but I can't tell if it's fabric (silk or felt?) or just paper, but it does have a lovely feel to it. This was a birthday card sent to Paul and Louis' niece. In French, one's birthday is called the anniversary. The card is 3.5 by 5.5 inches. The rose has a couple of foxing stains on it as well as light soiling/age spots on the background. But none are dark or big enough to blemish the rose's beauty!
