This absolutely gorgeous pendant was created in the 1920's. The condition is remarkable with no damage to the very thick crystal. There is no damage to the design. I can find one tiny, tiny pinprick in the black background, on the right side next to her scarf, and just below her hand. This likely occurred in the making and is not damage. Any other areas are reflection in the glass.
This pendant is marked as shown Sterling Silver Pat #202213. From research, I found this mark is from the Cornwall Jewelry Manufacturing & Gemstone Cutting, 1923. The pendant measures 1 5/8 " long (not including the circular loop or bale) x 1 1/4" wide. The loop and bale are 1/2 inch long. I have not polished the back or surround of this pendant.
The crinoline lady is just beautiful. These were hand painted and composed of blue Morpho butterfly wings. These pendants cast different iridescent blues to lavender at different angles.
The last photo shows another pendant along with this one which I am offering as well. Both pendants are being sold separately.
