Presented is this T&V Limoges and Pickard Studio antique, porcelain tea set consisting of a large, teapot with matching lidded sugar and creamer. All are hand painted in an art nouveau style featuring bright, canary yellow and ruby red, cherries displayed on a classic, ecru backdrop. A brilliant, radiant, coin gold accentuates the colorful, fruit bouquets. The accomplished, Pickard Studio artist, Harry E. Tolley initialed the sugar and signed the creamer.
The teapot stands, from the top of its magnificent, golden handle to its round base, 5.25 inches and reversed is a Tressemann & Vogt Limoges, France hallmark used between 1892 and 1907. The lidded sugar stands, from it golden finial to its round base, 5 inches and, from one regal handle to the other is, 5.5 inches. The creamer measures 4.25 inches from the top of its stately, gold handle to its round base. Reversed on both is a Tressemann & Vogt Limoges, France and a Pickard Studio hallmark number 4 which was used from 1903 up to 1905.
These hand painted, artist signed, antique, porcelain beauties are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes.
