This lovely, T&V Limoges plate offered for your consideration by FrenchAccents was, once upon a time, a souvenir, prize, or gift given away at a State Fair, China Painting Convention, or perhaps as a gift at a ladies' luncheon. The old saying is "Good things come in small packages" applies to this stunning, 7-inch porcelain plate which could also be used as a trivet under your favorite teapot or vase.
It features a beautiful, Victorian bouquet filled with stunning roses that were hand-painted in brilliant colors of scarlet, teal, and buttery yellow. A deep emerald green scalloped border accented with a radiant coin gold design elegantly frames the romantic floral arrangement. Reversed is a Tressemann & Vogt Souvenir Limoges, France hallmark used between 1892 and 1907.
This hand-painted, French beauty has one small scratch but no chips, cracks, or paint flakes.
