The following is information I found about Emil Aulich on the Internet:

Emil Aulich was born in Berlin, Germany, and when he first immigrated to the United States he with his brother Franz Bertram Aulich started their careers as glass decorators. In 1895, the two of them formed an independent glass decorating studio in Cincinnati, Ohio. Emil during his illustrious career taught china decorating at the famous Osgood School in New York. In 1898, he came to Pickard with a national reputation. He continued working there until 1910, during which time his acclaim grew even greater. Emil is particularly noted for his fine rose paintings which he specialized in.
