Framed Antique French Limoges Hand Painted Plate Ruby Tea Red Roses Signed by Lena E. Hanscom, China Artist
Stunning, T&V Limoges plate featuring a gorgeous, romantic bouquet filled with ruby red, tea roses and tiny rosebuds nestled in lush, multicolored greenery. This magnificent, porcelain work-or-art was meticulously hand painted on an emerald, moss and citron, green backdrop by renowned artist, Lena E. Hanscom who, on several occasions, was a contributor to the acclaimed Keramic Studio Magazine. She is also highly regarded as a painter for the Rookwood Pottery Studio. Adding the finishing touch to Hanscom's masterpiece is an exquisite, gold wood frame carved with ornate, embossed detailing. The plate measures 9.75 inches and together the pair measures 13.25 inches. Reversed on the plate is a Tressemann & Vogt Limoges hallmark used between 1892 and 1907.
Without exception, this hand painted and artist signed, antique, French porcelain beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes. The exquisite vintage, frame is also in excellent condition with only a small crack which is, because of the decorative design, difficult to see. I have, for your review photographed and enlarged it.
To ensure this framed, hand painted beauty arrives safely at its destination, it will be professionally packed and shipped by UPS.
