Antique Rosenthal Chocolate Pot Cups Saucers Hand Painted Tea Roses
I am delighted to offer for your consideration this breathtaking, German antique, porcelain chocolatier set consisting of a chocolate pot and four matching cups and saucers. Each feature beautiful, Victorian bouquets filled with romantic, canary yellow, tea roses and lush greenery meticulously hand painted in a naturalistic style reminiscent of the Master china artists, Aulich, Bischoff and Leykauf. A powder blue, forest green, mustard and chiffon yellow make up the multicolored backdrop while a radiant, coin gold accents the scalloped rim, stately spout and regal finial. The chocolate pot stands, from its gold finial to its scalloped base, an impressive 11.5 inches. The cups stand 3 1/8 inches with the saucers measuring 5 3/8 inches in diameter. Reversed on all is a Philip Rosenthal hallmark used between 1898 and 1906.
These exceptional, hand painted German beauties are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint flakes. A simply beautiful addition to your heirloom collection! Noted for accuracy is a faint, discolored one inch line under the glaze on the bottom of the chocolate pot created during firing.
